James Joyce

James Augustine Aloysius Joyce was born on February 2, 1882 in Dublin, Ireland and died on January 13, 1941. He was a world renowned Irish author or Ulysses (1922) and Dubliners (1914).

We will be reading three short stories by Joyce, all a part of Dubliners. These short stories: «Araby», «Eveline» and «A Painful Case» all highlight human emotions and experiences that in same way characterized Joyce’s own experience and the Ireland of his day.
