James Augustine Aloysius Joyce was born on February 2, 1882 in Dublin, Ireland and died on January 13, 1941. He was a world renowned Irish author or Ulysses (1922) and Dubliners (1914).
We will be reading three short stories by Joyce, all a part of Dubliners. These short stories: “Araby”, “Eveline” and “A Painful Case” all highlight human emotions and experiences that in same way characterized Joyce’s own experience and the Ireland of his day.
We will meet together to discuss Smith and her story on Thursday, September 30th at La Biela in Plaza Francia, Recoleta. Our meeting will begin promptly at 19:30.
